Inline Feedback

A floating "+2.80 FP" label rising above the caret while a line of code is being typed in the editor
The floating "+FP" display in action, cosmetic only and off until you switch it on.

Inline Feedback brings the game feeling straight into the editor: floating text, a small explosion on delete, a screen shake. It is purely cosmetic, so none of it affects FP, XP or any number. One master switch turns the whole thing on, and it is off by default.

The floating "+FP" display

When you earn FP by typing, a short "+X FP" appears at your caret and floats up and away. If you keep typing, the value adds up into a single growing display instead of stacking several texts on top of each other. Only after 2.5 seconds of quiet does it disappear, and the next gain starts again at zero.

This display deliberately appears only for keystroke FP.
